Luckily we have few rules to follow, but there are some to know:
Attendance is key. Tempe Tippers takes a two month break during the summer, so essentially we have two semesters. We can understand illness and the occasional unexpected work obligation. Attendance shows respect for the time of other members who are present and an eagerness to be part of the referral process.
Three missed meetings is the maximum we allow per semester. Absences beyond three will be handled on a case-by-case status, though you may lose your spot in the group and you will not receive a refund of your initial deposit.
No talking when someone else in the group is talking. Even a low whisper is easy to hear at the far end of the table and distracting.
Be positive!
Guests may attend twice before deciding if they would like to apply. An online application is below. The group will determine via interviews with officers if an application is accepted.
Fees
One-time new member fee: $200 (used for mixer events, tip forms, etc) Monthly membership dues: $55 (covers your weekly lunch)
Checks may be payable to "Tempe Tippers".
